Kurt Schranzer - News - 'The Great Walls' in progress

NEWS: 16 MAY 2009 — ALBUM OF STUDIES AND ARTWORKS IN PROGRESS

Work continues on THE GREAT WALLS. The intarsia and marquetry artworks include 2-dimensional panels and high relief sculptures. Many panels are nearing completion, with work beginning or continuing on 3-dimensional works such as Thatched Tower, Porthole Wall, Broken Column, and Secret Window. Materials: wood veneers, MDF board, plywood, on aluminium frames.
